  • Study the seasons of nature, such as flowers, migrating birds, etc. Prepare binoculars, notebook, pencil, pen, and map.

  • Study the route and check it with a map before traveling. Choose a path on a mountain ridge which is easier to walk on than the one in a valley. Strictly follow the authorities’ advice.

  • Dress politely and be composed. Take off your shoes before entering a religious building or area.

  • Avoid touching an artifact or ancient monument. Especially, the reliefs or painting to maintain their original condition. Avoid trespassing in a prohibited area or on an ancient monument and taking any parts of the artifacts or architecture.

Camping

  • Prepare a tent, sleeping bag, plastic sheet, kitchen utensils, such as a pot, gas range, oil lamp, dried food, drinking water, hiking shoes, hat, etc.

  • Check the direction of the wind before putting up a tent. The tent must be windward while a bonfire and a restroom leeward. The tent be on a hill or Highland, and on an open area beside a creek.

  • Sweep pieces of grass and leaves before putting up a tent since they may be a habitat of insects or reptiles.

  • Find fuel from pieces of wood in the forest, or on the beach, and put out a bonfire before going to sleep.

  • Keep the area clean in its original state after camping.
